A Merofixer you can count on: meet Katrien
Every order is different, and that makes it nice!
“As a woman, I gladly man up here,” Katrien always jokes. She started her Merofix adventure as a calculator in August 2023. Meanwhile she has become a permanent fixture within the team. Her job as a calculator consists of preparing quotes, entering orders and speaking to customers and suppliers.
Katrien previously worked in Lummen but was looking for a job closer to home. That is how she came across the vacancy of calculator at Merofix. After a positive job interview, she was able to start a week later. What she likes most about the job is working with numbers. Every quote or order is different and specific, and that of course provides a nice challenge. This way, Katrien has a lot of variety in her job.
Working at Merofix is a very positive experience for me. I have a nice job with great colleagues. We also have fun with the group outside of work (for example during staff parties). Friday is always hoagie day, when we are treated to sandwiches that we eat in the kitchen, cosy together.
